— The Challenge

A yacht is run on paperwork that lives in three inboxes and a folder on someone’s laptop. Crew, captains, owners and marina businesses each need a different view of the same vessel, and none of them had one. Forjwell was hired to design and build all three surfaces.

— The Approach

Role Modelling

Four role-based experiences mapped before a screen was drawn: crew, captain, owner, and marine service provider.

Mobile Application

Flutter and GetX, with profiles, certifications, a job board, and the hiring pipeline that runs through it.

API & Real Time

NestJS with Postgres and Prisma, Redis-backed sessions, and a Socket.io gateway for chat and notifications.

Web Surfaces

A Next.js marketing site, business portal, and admin console sharing one design language with the app.

Three codebases under one product: a Flutter app for crew and captains, a NestJS API with real-time messaging, and a Next.js web platform for marina businesses and administrators.
